I am an artist based in Minneapolis. I recently graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a Masters in Graphic Arts and Web Design. I enjoy many creative pursuits. I am a painter, animator and designer.
I feel like a painter at heart. I love how colors can evoke emotions in paintings. I am deeply inspired by colors and how they interact with one another. The gestures and movement in my paintings are completely spontaneous. As soon as I start to move the paint around with brushes and rags, the painting takes off in its own direction. Painting abstractly helps me move through thoughts and emotions more creatively.

The Beginning
This was my very first abstract oil painting. Thank you to my painting teacher for pushing me to be a braver painter! A special client help me name the painting years after I made it. The title is fitting: “The beginning”.
